Composite Doors

Your front door is one of the most important features of your home, so by creating a stylish entrance that you, your guests and passers- by will admire. Come home to a centrepiece that is strong, safe and secure, functional for everyday use, energy efficient, quiet to the outside world and pleasing on the eye.

What is a composite door

Composite doors are made up of 3 main features

  • Outer skin: The outer and inner skin is compression moulded using GRP (glass reinforced polyester).   This creates a high definition grain effect that cannot be achieved using standard panel technology. The skin is also not affected by variations in temperature unlike standard panels.

  • The core: The core is filled with an insulating core of 100% CFC- free polyeurethane. The performance of this is exceptional, outperforming timber 9 times! This means our doors coupled with our multi chambered frame exceeds the 1.8 ‘U’ value requirements. The lower the ‘U’ value the more energy efficient the product becomes.

  • The perimeter:  The core and the timber surround is protected by a perimeter of water resistant polymer instead of timber.  Rather than purely relying on treated timber , this product ensures that no water can penetrate to the core.  Being polymer, it has none of the drawbacks associated with timber.

Again Security is a priority, and Allweather windows as with upvc doors use the YALE multi point lock which is accredited with secure by design.
